The Management of AgileCred (Private) Limited is made up of shrewd and vibrant Microfinance Experts who have great passion for making a remarkable impact in the Financial inclusion and MSMEs enterprise development in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.
Mr Raymond Mutandi is microfinance practitioner with over 8 years in the field. He has vast experience in financial services, strategy, operations, accounting and finance, administration and process mapping. Over the years he was involved in managing farmer credit input schemes running into over USD 5 million dollars per scheme, assisting in setting up two major microfinances in Zimbabwe, turning the entities` fortunes ensuring attainment of profitability and operational self-sufficiency. Raymond is strongly passionate about seeing small businesses grow and contributing positively to poverty alleviation towards attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
He holds a Bsc in Applied Accounting (Oxford Brookes University), a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), a registered public Accountant in Zimbabwe (RPacc) and an Associate member (ACGP) of the Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute in Zimbabwe (formerly ICSAZ). He also holds an Executive Certificate in Microfinance and Entrepreneurship Management (NUST) and several qualifications to his name.
Mr Phillip Makanhiwa is a microfinance and development practitioner with over 15 years experience in rural microfinance operations. He has experience in value chain financing models, inclusive financing, relationship management and entrepreneurship training. In his career, he assisted a currently growing Microfinance Institution grow its Zimbabwe`s Southern region footnote having been part of its set up.
He holds a Bsc Honours degree in Marketing Mangement (LSU), an Executive Certificate in Microfinance and Entrepreneurship (NUST), a Certificate of proficiency in long term insurance business (IIZ), an Executive Certificate in Credit Management (UZ) and a Diploma in Education (UZ). He is also an ILO Certified Trainer of entrepreneurs.
Mr Rodwell Nyanyirai is a microfinance and agribusiness expert with over 10 years’ experience in the areas of business development, relationship management, financial inclusion, and agricultural value chain financing. He has spent a significant portion of his work experience training and supporting smallholder farmers, Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSMEs). In his career Rodwell has had a stint managing relationships on input credit schemes under contract farming, agricultural extension, and agricultural microinsurance. His entrepreneurship spirit was enhanced following his exposure to a few start-up microfinance businesses where he emerged an
exceptional performer.
He is passionate about financial inclusion and has demonstrated this by forging several collaborations with various value chain actors including farmer representatives, NGOs, seed houses, input suppliers and off-takers in pursuit for promoting access to finance for the informal sector enterprises. Rodwell is studying MSc Development Finance (Reading, UK) and is a holder of Master of Business Administration – Strategic Leadership (UZ), BSc (Hons) Agricultural Economics (UZ), Executive Certificate in Credit Management (UZ), Executive Certificate in Microfinance (UZ) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) – Life insurance (IIZ).
